The Fairy Book

Once a fairy was playing among flowers. Suddenly she was caught in a spider-web. She tried to get out but could not because she was tangled in the web. She soon caught sight of the spider who was fast approaching her. She started to think a way out of the problem.

When the spider reached her she asked him, "Have you tasted fire-flies?". "No" replied the spider, "I guess it will give me a tummy-ache. The spider looked at the fairy who had started to glow by this time. So the....!", the spider paused, then asked  in amazement, "Are you one!?".

The clever fairy said, "Yes, I am", with a smile. The scared spider ran away with his web leaving the fairy alone!

Morals:
Trouble is not the time to back off.
You should not go by what others say, It may lead to disappointment.

The Sea

The wooshing sound of the sea,
The pure smell of the fish,
The deepness to the sea bed
Is quiet, too amazing!

The sounds that sea sing
The wind that takes the waves
Is the pleasantest things on sea side
That I have ever felt!

The weeds that grow on the sea-bed,
The moon reflecting on sea-borders
The sharks that lurk at the bottom
Are beauties my eyes love to watch!
